Code is normalized to uppercase with underscores. Example: LEFT_TYRE_PRESSURE.
If enabled, the operator must scan the machine-specific QR for this component assignment.
Generic components do not receive QR codes. QR codes are assigned only when this component is added to a machine checklist.
